The Texana Ranch is located in the rolling hills near Blackwell, TX between San Angelo and Abilene. The ranch was established in 1979 and the last piece of land was purchased in 1987. The ranch consists of 4,682 acres  which is divided into seven different pastures. The ranch has a total of 24.3 miles of high fence. A game management program including food plots, feeding high protein supplements and minerals, animal count and control, and the importing of native and exotic animals since 1982 provide prime trophy quality. Hunting from heated blinds (elevated and ground), spot and stock, horn rattling and calling is practiced to fit your style and mood. The modern lodge provides a comfortable atmosphere for good meals, relaxation and tall tales. Guided hunts include skinning, capping and quartering of game. A large walk-in cooler and freezer insure easy transport of meat for the trip home.
